Paul Dutt - Criminal Defense and Personal Injury Lawyer

Paul Dutt is from the Lower Mainland and graduated from Simon Fraser University before attending law school at the University of New Brunswick and later completing his final year of law school at the University of Victoria. While in law school, Mr. Dutt focus was on criminal law and tort law (including motor vehicle injury law).

Mr. Dutt practices exclusively in Criminal Defence Law and Plaintiff Personal Injury. In his capacity as a criminal defence counsel, Mr. Dutt has practised at all levels of Court in British Columbia. His varied life experiences help him to appreciate the needs and circumstances of his clients. Whether it involves avoiding criminal charges altogether or taking your case to trial, Mr. Dutt is dedicated to helping his clients achieve the best possible results. Mr. Dutt subscribes to the notion that as a defence lawyer it is his duty to focus on all “non-criminal” options before a case proceeds to trial. There is more than one way to win a case. Mr. Dutt knows that as a defence counsel, he is the person who is a buffer between the power of the police and government and his client’s rights. Mr. Dutt is a firm believer in clients’ rights and will ensure that they are at the forefront in all of his cases.
